Transdev Rouen has been awarded EFQM certification, recognizing its performance against a proven management framework.
Transdev Rouen already relies on the group’s triple ISO certification (9001, 14001 and 45001). This has enabled us to put in place a reference framework that is recognized and shared by our teams. To take things a step further, the network has decided to apply for EFQM certification.
The EFQM (European Foundation for Quality Management) label is a model of organizational excellence, designed to help organizations improve their performance. Based on 700 points (1 star for 100 points), it enables organizations to assess and compare themselves with international best practices. It’s a demanding model, with only 7 organizations worldwide having been awarded 7 stars, out of over 30,000 companies working with the label.
Preparing for the assessment mobilized all the company’s departments, with support from the Group to complete the EFQM database covering the 7 criteria (raison d’être and strategic vision, culture and leadership, stakeholder commitment, sustainable value creation, steering performance and driving transformation, strategic and operational performance and stakeholder perception).
The audit week was an intense one, with over 50 people interviewed and 35 interviews involving all the company’s departments. The auditors awarded the company 4 stars, in full recognition of its commitment to excellence. They praised the progress made since the implementation of the Cap Excellence corporate project, and highlighted the opportunities offered by the company’s future transformation into a mission-driven enterprise.
A very satisfactory result, which points the way to continuous improvement, with the construction of a progress plan.
