They come from Göteborg, Eskilstuna, Ostrava, Guimarães, Viseu, Coimbra, and many other European cities. Just as our overseas colleagues from Reunion Island and Mayotte were first on hand to transport spectators to the Versailles site, it's now the turn of our drivers from the Czech Republic, Sweden and Portugal to provide invaluable support for our transport mission during this second stage of the major summer 2024 event.
These drivers, from Sweden, the Czech Republic and Portugal, have answered Transdev 2024’s call to contribute to a mission that goes beyond transport. It’s a real human adventure, a melting pot of cultures and experiences, which is unfolding before our very eyes. Our drivers are delighted by this diversity, which enriches their experience and strengthens their sense of pride in belonging to a company capable of mobilizing talent on a European scale.
I wanted to come and live this adventure in Paris, in what is for me the most beautiful city in the world. I speak French, which made it easier for me to come. Fortunately, we have the technical means to orientate ourselves on our routes and there are dedicated lanes, because my only apprehension before arriving here concerned Parisian road traffic. In the end, everything went smoothly!
