Why this project?
Envie Autonomie is a network of integration companies created in 2015 to meet a dual social and environmental challenge. The organization collects, reconditions and resells second-hand medical equipment at solidarity prices for people losing their autonomy or suffering from disabilities.
How the association works
By collecting, reconditioning and reselling second-hand medical equipment at affordable prices, the organization creates jobs for people on social integration schemes. The process includes equipment collection, sorting, refurbishment and distribution, as well as delivery and maintenance services. In 2022, with the support of the Transdev Foundation, Envie Autonomie opened its first branch in the Paris region, in Tremblay-en-France, contributing to local employment in an area of high unemployment.
