The official award ceremony at Transdev headquarters took place on Thursday, November 14, 2024, with Pierre Talgorn, Transdev Île-de-France Regional Director, Alain Jounot, Head of AFNOR Group's CSR Department and a CSR representative from Île-de-France Mobilités in attendance.

Transdev Île-de-France initiated this certification project back in 2019. Since then, the company has pursued its efforts to integrate Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) at the heart of its strategy, structuring its actions and setting concrete targets for continuous improvement.

In performing its service business, Transdev relies on the women and men who guarantee the safety and satisfaction of passengers on its routes operated on behalf of Île-de-France Mobilités. Transdev is also working with Île-de-France Mobilités to sustainably transform regional mobility by getting involved in the energy transition of the Bus Operations Centers. Finally, Transdev is a committed partner at the heart of the areas it serves, working alongside local authorities, educational establishments, employment and social players.

This new certification is part of a global process to validate Transdev’s commitments. In fact, since the end of 2023, all Transdev’s regions in France have been triple certified ISO 9001 (service quality), 14001 (environmental performance) and 45001 (health and safety at work), for passenger transport by road (bus and coach), by rail (light rail), and for its airport activities.

This ISO 26000 ‘Confirmed’ certification is the fruit of a collective effort. It testifies to our commitment to offering mobility that respects social and environmental issues. As a major player in passenger transport, we have a responsibility to develop solutions that make a positive contribution to society and the environment.

Pierre Talgorn, Transdev's Regional Director for the Île-de-France region

For Transdev, ISO 26000 certification, which is recognized internationally, represents a guarantee of transparency and credibility with its stakeholders, including Île-de-France Mobilités, local authorities and users. By adopting this reference framework, Transdev Île-de-France is strengthening its position as a trusted partner for the region, and committing itself to a process of continuous improvement in terms of sustainable development.
