Climate change is now a tangible reality, marked by an increase in the frequency and intensity of extreme weather events. In the face of climate disruption, we need to act even faster and harder to build a sustainable future. With the climate transition, adaptation has become an unavoidable necessity.
As an international mobility operator, we at Transdev are observing the impacts of climate change all over the world. Territory by territory, significant investments and concrete strategies are needed to preserve the quality of life where we live and guarantee the continuity of essential activities, including the ability to get around.
The breakfast we organized enabled us to focus on the challenges of adapting to climate change, as well as on territorial strategies and solutions to be implemented, with a particular focus on mobility. Bringing together leading economic and institutional players, the event featured discussions with François Gemenne, lead author for the IPCC and scientific advisor to The Mobility Sphere, Antoine Poincaré, Director of AXA Climate's Climate School, and Adèle Tanguy, Adaptation Policies Research Fellow at IDDRI.
