An ambition, reducing urban pollution

Since 2008, the French city of Nice is committed to sustainable development in public transport. The commissioning of Auto Bleue, an electric carsharing service contributes to this process and completes the green modes of transport offer.

A 100% ecological offer

Veolia Transdev through the joint venture VENAP offers for the first time in France, a 100% ecological carsharing service, with a fleet of electric cars (38 Peugeot Ion and 10 Citroën Venturi Berlingo) available at 16 stations. 39 Mia Electric cars are expected in summer 2011. 210 electric vehicules available at 70 stations are planned by 2012.

A simple and intuitive use

Each station has five car parks including 2 urban electric charging points for Auto Bleue vehicles. To promote the use of electric cars, the charging points and car parks will be free during one year. In the same way, the public car parks of Nice will be progressively equipped.

An attractive offer

Auto Bleue is accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by telephone or via the internet. After payment of an annual subscription of 25 €, two attractive fares are offered to the customer: The Liberté offer (8 € per hour) and the Fréquence package (including 10 hours and then 5 € per hour). In addition, many cities in Alpes Maritimes department and Monaco offer free of charge car parks for the Auto Bleue users.
