The latest Australian made Parramatta River Class ferry, the Martin Green, is operational in Sydney.

We are proud to announce that the Martin Green, the newest Australian-made ferry, is now in service on the Parramatta River in Sydney. With a capacity of 200 passengers, this cutting-edge vessel is engineered to be more fuel-efficient, using 40% less diesel than traditional ferries, and is designed for future electric conversion to align with sustainability goals.

Named in honor of Professor Martin Green, a pioneering solar technology expert from the University of New South Wales, the Martin Green ferry represents a significant step forward in both technology and environmental responsibility.

This ferry is the fourth of seven new vessels being introduced to the F3 Parramatta to Circular Quay route, offering passengers enhanced comfort, reliability, and a greener travel option. We are excited to contribute to a more sustainable and efficient ferry network for Sydney.
