In Woodland, California, Transdev and our local employees have partnered with Yolo County Transportation District, where Transdev currently offers paratransit and fixed route services, to establish a delivery service for meals from the local food bank to seniors and those in need throughout Yolo County.

Finding a way to help the community during this crisis was important, especially since transportation services have been reduced due to the coronavirus outbreak and many senior centers have temporarily closed.

As of this week, several trained Transdev drivers are using Yolobus vehicles to provide much needed nutrition to these local seniors. Transdev will continue to work closely with YCTD to adjust service levels as demand is determined.

During this unprecedented time, Transdev remains aware of the need for life sustaining services beyond public transportation in the communities that we serve.

Well positioned with equipment and personnel to aid in delivery of essential services in our communities, Transdev will continue to offer assistance to our communities.
