Paris, March 8, 2021

In recognition of the International Women’s Day 2021 this March 8th after one of the most difficult years in our professional and personal lives due to the COVID-19 pandemic, I would like to take the opportunity to acknowledge all the women of Transdev Group for their commitment and dedication our clients and communities.

It is because of you and all your colleagues worldwide that Transdev Group is able to provide millions safe and sustainable passenger trips every day. In the light of the global pandemic this is not a small feat and I want you to know how extremely proud I am of all of you.

Today I again must admit that full gender equality has not been achieved in our society, our industry, or even in our company; despite our best intentions women are still not represented in equal numbers in many of our jobs.

Diversity represents all the differences each of us are bringing to our company as human beings, which allow us to think differently, and therefore, innovate to respond to and even anticipate customer and community needs of today and tomorrow. It is also important that we as a company which empower freedom to move every day thanks to safe, reliable and innovative solutions that serve the common good, we have a workforce that reflect the communities we serve.

Our ambition is to advance gender equity at all levels within Transdev. This is why we last year designated Diversity & Inclusion as one of our Group’s strategic priority programs. As a result we are developing a clear roadmap and we have already set targets for further representation of women among our Group top executives.

In our management bodies, among the top 100 of our executives worldwide, we aim to increase the share of women from 30% today to 50% by 2025. We are commited to accelerate this change; bringing gender equity at all hierarchical levels is a necessary lever to generate a virtuous dynamic in favor of sustainable and inclusive mobility.

I strongly believe that diversity and inclusion are a strength; we must build on the differences that make us up and nurture an inclusive environment where all colleagues can bring their full selves to work, share ideas and encourage differing viewpoints.

Today, I urge all of us to take a moment to reflect on how our own daily actions can create a more gender equal company, industry, and society.

Sincerely,

Thierry Mallet, Chairman & CEO
