Transdev US has announced it will continue its long partnership with New Jersey Transit to operate its Monmouth County Area Local Bus Service for another three years. The company has operated this contract for New Jersey Transit for close to 30 years.
As part of this partnership, Transdev manages the operations, maintenance and operator recruitment and training of Monmouth County’s seven fixed routes, which includes 20 vehicles and 55 employees.

The contract renewal was approved by the New Jersey Transit Board on February 10, 2021 and became effective as of March 20, 2021.
