Merresor Express : new name for coach service at Transdev Sweden

Transdev coach services resumed between the northern cities of Sandviken and Gävle with the capital Stockholm under the new name Merresor Express. Traffic was paused in the autumn of 2020 due to low demand in connection with the pandemic.

Just in time for the Swedish Midsummer celebration, Merresor Express started running from Sandviken via Valbo and Gävle to Stockholm City Terminal seven days a week, with double departures Friday – Sunday. A bus ticket from Sandviken to Stockholm costs SEK 195 (approximately €19) / one way and is easily booked via www.merresorexpress.se.

 

As more and more people are vaccinated, the demand for travel has increased and there is a great desire to meet family and friends again and to holiday in Sweden. We look forward to welcoming new and old passengers on board again.

Extra measures have been taken to ensure a safe journey and follow the Government’s recommendations. Among other things, Merresor has limited the number of seats and introduced extra cleaning and hydroalcoholic gels onboard all buses.

 

During the summer, we will initially run a tour in the morning and a tour in the evening as well as an extra tour during the weekends, but if we see that many want to travel, we will adapt to demand. We use the same recipe for success as before with good service and comfortable buses that give a minimal impression on both the environment and the wallet.
