Amid the stilettos, sequins and smiles of the Midsumma Pride March, the Transdev Melbourne team marched earlier this year to show its support for the LGBTQIA+ community.
Throughout the month of May, Victoria’s first fully electric bus donned a special, Pride-themed rainbow wrap and featured in the Midsumma Festival Pride March alongside a group of Transdev Melbourne’s LGBTQIA+ employees and allies.
Inclusion is more than just a word.
We have to live and act with respect and appreciation for diversity in our day to day lives. It’s important that not only our workplace, but the bus services we provide the community are welcoming and inclusive.

The Pride-themed livery encouraged the community to “Ride with Pride”, a slogan developed by Transdev staff to show their commitment to inclusivity and diversity.
The Transdev team also showed their support at the Midsumma Festival with encouraging messages of “Love is Love” and “Equality Love Pride” through a specially programmed bus destination sign and rainbow signs.
Transdev’s participation in this year’s Pride March in Melbourne is part of its commitment to ensuring a safe and respectful workplace for our people, as well as providing inclusive journeys for LGBTQIA+ customers, communities and staff.
