Transdev Vertrieb (TDV), the Sales Services subsidiary of Transdev Germany, will take over ticket distribution in the two Bavarian networks Regensburg/Donautal and Regionalverkehr Oberfranken for the rail operator Agilis for up to 14 years, after the latter recently won the corresponding rail tenders.

« Today’s signing brings long and intensive negotiation talks to a good end, » Marketa Bauer, TDV Business Development Project Manager, is pleased to say.

We will organize and operate Agilis’ entire sales operations until 2036. This includes staffed points of sale, vending machines, mobile terminals for customer service staff, ticket validators, subscription management, service telephones and, finally, all electronic ticket media.

With Agilis, we were able to convince the third rail operator that is not part of the Transdev Group of our capabilities. This means that our strategy of not relying solely on the uncertain tender business is paying off.

Martin Hörl, TDV Managing Director.

TDV had already entered into a cooperation agreement in October 2020 for the ticket distribution of the rail operator Go-Ahead Bayern, which will take over the Munich – Memmingen – Lindau route in December 2021.

Both sales projects will be prepared and operated jointly in future. In this way, valuable synergies can be used in the interests of our customers.
