Metro9 connects the eastern and western sections of Seoul, south of the Han River, being the first operator of rapid-transit subway services in the city. It has enabled significant savings of travel time in the Gang Seo area. In the future, Metro9 is planning to achieve a balance between urban development and new transportation services.
