Transdev North America recently celebrated a significant milestone with the graduation of its first cohort from the Developing General Manager (GM) Program, a rigorous 12-month initiative designed to prepare emerging leaders for future GM roles. This achievement highlights the company’s dedication to professional development and talent cultivation within its workforce.

The program offers a structured blend of in-person and online learning, featuring mentorship from executives, shadowing opportunities with experienced General Managers, and training in leadership skills such as communication, emotional intelligence, and financial management. Graduates demonstrated their growth by showcasing their impact on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and applying leadership techniques like delegation and team development.

Transdev’s commitment to leadership development was evident during the graduation ceremony, attended by senior executives. The program has already led to promotions, with two graduates advancing to General Manager roles. By fostering career progression—including for employees who began as bus operators—Transdev reinforces its dedication to internal mobility and operational excellence.
