Recently, our Sydney Ferries team was honored to host a French trade delegation on a special tour across the harbor, showcasing some of our services.

The visit was an opportunity to strengthen transcontinental bonds and give a firsthand look at some of our iconic Sydney services in action.

The delegation including trade officials led by French Minister for Foreign Trade, Oliver Becht and The Honorable Rob Stokes, New South Wales Minister for Infrastructure.

The visit was a significant and strategic milestone as Australian and French relations enter a new chapter with the recent change of government.

This visit is part of the revival of relations between Australia and France. Prime Minister Anthony Albanese’s visit to France on July 1 was an opportunity to initiate the rebuilding of a bilateral relationship based on trust and respect, to overcome together global challenges such as the climate emergency, and the strategic challenges in the Indo-Pacific.

It was such a great honour for us at Transdev Australasia to be able to host this very important delegation from France, and to share with them a number of our most well-known operations in Sydney that they may not have been as familiar with as our operations in France. All the team members enjoyed being part of the visit and strengthening the relationship between our two countries.
