Katarína Cséfalvayová is the co-founder and director of the Institute for Central Europe. She is also the Executive Lead of the Danube Tech Valley Initiative at Globsec. From 2016 to 2020, she was elected as a Member of Parliament in Slovakia’s National Council, where she chaired the Foreign Affairs Committee. Prior to that, she held the position of Vice Dean for International Development at the Faculty of International Relations of the University of Economics in Bratislava. She holds a Ph.D. in International Relations.
In 2020, French President Emmanuel Macron awarded Katarína with the National Order of Merit.
