For the fourth time now, Transdev Germany is participating in the German Diversity Day. In times like these, we want to express that diversity can be a success factor for companies.

The current Coronavirus pandemic poses major challenges for society. This also applies to Transdev in Germany, the largest private mobility provider in the country. But even now the 6,900 employees of the corporate group in Germany stand together to continue to bring passengers safely and reliably to their destination every day. Even in these unusual times, the Transdev employees live the values of diversity, tolerance and cohesion.

Reason enough for the company, together with its workforce from more than 70 countries, to once again support the nationwide diversity action days of the association « Charter of Diversity » and to get involved with their own actions. This year, social media posts on the company’s diversity are planned. As soon as the current situation allows.

Despite the at times difficult conditions now, our employees do outstanding things every day. For our passengers, the daily journey by bus and train is currently often different than usual - and yet working together works almost everywhere without problems. For this reason, the corona pandemic is not only a great challenge in our eyes, but also shows that people can master difficult situations together regardless of factors such as origin, age and gender. This diversity and values such as cohesion, tolerance, respect and appreciation represent an enrichment and an indispensable component for our whole society and thus also for our company. They make us strong - even in times like these.

Dr. Tobias Heinemann, Spokesman for the Management of Transdev Germany

The Transdev Group is a signatory to the “Diversity Charter” and is participating for the fourth time this year at the German Diversity Day on May 26th.
