Transdev Dublin Light Rail (TDLR) has won the prestigious National Diversity and Inclusion Awards (NDIA) in the LGBTQIA+ Inclusion category. The award was presented during the NDIA ceremony, where Transdev Ireland representatives were in attendance.

This recognition highlights our unwavering commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace. Over the past year, TDLR has made significant strides in supporting our LGBTQIA+ employees and allies.

A key part of this success is the establishment and growth of The Proud Society. It is an employee resource group created by a dedicated group of TDLR employees. Since its inception, The Proud Society has flourished, now with 19 active members. It has become a cornerstone of our inclusivity efforts, driving meaningful change within the company.

This society has played a crucial role in promoting education, organizing social events, hosting monthly meetings, and taking part in TDLR’s first Pride in 2024. Additionally, it has provided valuable resources and support for employees seeking advice on LGBTQIA+ issues. It has also contributed significantly to the development and implementation of our Gender Transition Policy.

Through these initiatives, the Proud Society has built a supportive, welcoming, and empowering environment for LGBTQIA+ individuals at Transdev. This award underscores our dedication to the well-being and inclusion of LGBTQIA+ employees. We want to ensure that everyone feels valued and supported within the workplace.

At Transdev Dublin Light Rail, we are proud of our achievements. We remain committed to creating an inclusive, safe, and diverse working environment for all.

We are a company that is successful because of our people. Part of our culture and DNA is that in driving performance for our clients, we first start with backing our people. I want to congratulate our Proud Society founders and members on their national recognition. We are all very proud of you.
