From Åre and Storlien, customers can start their mountain hike immediately, the trail starts a stone’s throw from the station Snälltåget also offers the possibility of transfers to Edsåsdalen, Vålådalen, Storulvån, Vemdalen, Ljungdalen and Ramundberget so that the customers can get closer to the popular hiking trails Jämtlandstriangeln, Vålådalsfyrkanten and Jämtlandsleden.
Mountain hiking and vacationing locally are the pandemic's footprints and more popular than ever. In the Swedish market we see an increased interest in taking the train to the Jämtland mountains and are therefore investing in starting the season four weeks earlier this year. We hope that the investment will be appreciated by travelers.
