On the occasion of the France Services open days, Transdev Arles and the Provence de la Poste regional office signed a partnership agreement in Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer in southern France.

For the first time in the South PACA region, La Poste is joining forces with Transdev to offer the inhabitants of Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer mobility solutions in a France Services La Poste office. Saintois will now be able to go there to consult the transportation solutions of the Envia network.

Created in 2001, the « France Services » label provides equal access to public services and supports users in their daily life process.

Trained by Transdev, La Poste agents will thus be able to inform the public about the network’s offers and support them in the consultation and purchase of transit tickets on the www.tout-envia.com  site, which can be consulted on the digital console in the post office.

Transdev operates under the Envia network brand in the municipalities of Arles, Boulbon, Saint Martin de Crau, Saint Pierre de Mézoargues, Tarascon and Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer thanks to a delegated management contract.

With this partnership, the Transdev wishes to continue to engage as close as possible with the regions to allow people to travel with confidence, thanks to reliable and innovative solutions serving the common good. « This signature was obvious, it makes sense to locate here because we manage the common good and facilitate local mobility », then reiterated Brice Verdier, General Manager of Transdev Arles.

Enhanced offer in a post office labelled France Services

This new experimental partnership with Transdev enriches a range of services already available within La Poste France Services in Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer. Indeed, La Poste des Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer was labeled France Service in 2020 and therefore already offered the services of eight France Services partners: Pôle Emploi, CARSAT, CAF, CPAM, MSA, Ministry of the Interior, the Ministry of Justice and the DGFiP.

Thus, the inhabitants of Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer could already access the services of partners via a digital space made available by La Poste (computer, tablet, printer and scanner) and benefit from the support of a Customer Service Agent specially trained to help them with their online postal and administrative procedures.

By offering these solutions to the population, La Poste is relying on its territorial network to help reduce the digital divide by providing free self-service connected equipment within France Services and supporting people struggling with digital technology.
