Transdev Foundation
Born in 2002 out of the Transdev group's deep roots in the heart of French towns and territories, the Transdev Foundation is the expression of the company's and its employees' commitment to solidarity and citizenship in the field of social mobility. The foundation has been involved in corporate philanthropy for more than 20 years, and is active in all the areas served by the Transdev network in France. Its actions are backed by a powerful network of local sponsors and correspondents, all of whom are Transdev employees.
The Transdev Foundation's mission, values and eligibility criteria
Placed under the aegis of Fondation de France, the Transdev Foundation has chosen to intervene in the field of social mobility by supporting initiatives that enable individuals in difficulty to advance and progress in their life paths.
In this context, the foundation supports local social support projects in the fields of employment, education, culture, health, sport and social mediation: providing immediate employment or training for people who are far removed from the world of work, reducing inequalities in access to education and culture, developing social ties and self-esteem, helping people suffering from illnesses to integrate or reintegrate into society or the workplace… these are the objectives of the associations supported by the foundation.
By supporting social and/or professional support schemes, the Transdev Foundation aims to help overcome the obstacles faced by vulnerable people, and to significantly improve their living conditions, as part of a process of integration or reintegration.
Solidarity
Solidarity is an essential value in maintaining social cohesion. Associations play a crucial role by intervening directly with populations in difficulty. To ensure the inclusion of all, the Transdev Foundation works closely with these local players to promote local solidarity.
Citizenship
In a society marked by uncertainty and the need for shared values, it is important to strengthen the sense of civic responsibility. The Transdev Foundation is committed to promoting social cohesion through a collective experience of mobility. This mission guides the Foundation’s initiatives in both urban and rural communities.
Engagement
Project leaders are driven by deep conviction and possess the ability to inspire and mobilize others. The men and women of the Transdev Foundation share the same values: they are involved, they listen, and they are committed to the common good.
One of the special features of the Transdev Foundation is the sympathetic support it provides to project leaders from start to finish.
