Accelerating the regional energy transitions
Shared transport is a key element of the energy transition. In order to accelerate this transition and that of local authorities, Transdev offers expertise adapted to the reality of each territory: biogas buses in Mulhouse, 100% hydrogen bus line in Lens, all key solutions for a diversified and virtuous energy mix.
The challenge:
Transdev aims to play an active role in the development of public transport in the Île-de-France region. To this end, we are supporting the strategy of Île-de-France Mobilités on this project to transition vehicles and Bus Operational Centres (COB).

The answer:
- Transdev’s active support for the development of the gas sector in Île-de-France with the conversion of our COBs to biogas, which will supply 480 vehicles in operation by 2023.
- An optimized energy transition schedule thanks to the construction of a specific team enabling a COB to be converted in 14 months.
- Continued experimentation with new fuels to improve our energy mix, in particular with HVO (synthetic fuel without palm oil), already deployed on nearly 250 vehicles.
