Vélhop is the service for hiring shared bikes in the Eurométropole of Strasbourg, which has been in existence since 2010. The company has a diverse and inclusive fleet comprising 30 adapted bikes (8 different types of bike). In this context, Transdev, as an innovation partner of Strasbourg Mobilités, has deployed the first Mobility Experience Laboratory (LEMON) dedicated to bicycles.

To accompany its launch, Vélhop has set up a specific communication plan and presented the service to key opinion leaders, disability associations, hospitals, nursing homes and retirement homes.

The company also organised free support and learning sessions on how to use the bikes, as well as adapted bike rides supervised by professionals.
