After winning the contract to operate the Mälartåg regional rail lines in the province of Stockholm - Mälardalen - at the beginning of the year, Transdev Sweden teams had the pleasure of officially launching the network on June 16, welcoming 700 new employees to their teams.
This transition has been carefully prepared in close collaboration with the previous operator and the Mälardalstrafik mobility authority to minimize the impact on rail traffic and ensure optimum continuity of service for our passengers. The arrival of these new employees is a crucial step in strengthening our commitment to network quality and reliability.
It's a great challenge to take over the operation of a complex rail system and a large fleet of vehicles in such a short space of time. We see this day as the starting point for Transdev to continue its development work in the service of Mälartåg's passengers and our employees.
